Visa InformationCheck your travel agents to find out whether you will need to have visa to enter China. If you need to apply for visa, it should be very easy to apply for a tourist visa to Kunming (and other places you plan to visit in China during this trip) from Chinese Embassy or through your travel agency. In case you need an invitation letter to apply for a business visa to attend the workshop, you will need to request FTDCS 2008 Workshop co-chair Professor Hongji Yang, De Montfort University, UK, to send you an invitation letter for you to participate in the workshop. To receive the invitation letter, you need to send a request through e-mail at hyang@dmu.ac.uk stating your purpose of visit "For participation in the 12th IEEE Workshop on Future Trends of Distributed Computing Systems, October 21 - 23, 2008 in Kunming, China". You must include the following information: your full name, passport number, country, gender, affiliation, and mailing address. Your request should be received by Professor Hongji Yang before Friday, September 19, 2008 so that you will have enough time to receive the invitation letter for your visa application. |
